The Peach Fuzz makes artist-designed goods for people who show up, speak up, and refuse to be quiet about the things that matter. Unapologetically political. Relentlessly colorful. Made with too many feelings and zero generative AI – every single design drawn by an actual human.
Because advocating for what you believe in shouldn't feel like a chore. It should feel like putting on your favorite piece and letting the joy fuel you.
Hi! It's me, Peach Fuzz founder + artist Elizabeth Hudy!
I started The Peach Fuzz in 2017 with a pencil, a lot of opinions, and a day job I was quietly losing my mind at. I had been working as a CPA, because I thought making a real living as an artist was a pipe dream. Turns out I'm not the type who performs well when my heart isn't in it, and my heart was NOT in the business of helping millionaires save money on their taxes. So I left. I channeled everything into The Peach Fuzz — all the restless energy, the pent-up opinions, the things I couldn't stop thinking about. 8 years later, every design is still hand-drawn by me, and raising money for causes we care about is still at the core of the business.
The issues we're facing in the realms of racism, sexism, climate change, and politics in general are devastating and overwhelming. As a loudmouth, neurodivergent, queer woman, I've never been wired for biting my tongue or falling in line — and I'm not sorry about it. Art has given me an outlet to scream "YOU SHOULD REALLY CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO OTHER PEOPLE" in a way that is playful, optimistic, and life-affirming — and hopefully invites as many people as possible to join in. Remember kids: united we bargain, divided we beg.
I'm also an active resource for independent makers, illustrators, and artist-entrepreneurs trying to do what I've done — without selling out, burning out, or gatekeeping anything — because a rising tide lifts all ships!
In the words of Toni Cade Bambara, "The role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible" — and that's exactly what I'm out to do. I want you to be empowered to stand up for what you believe in, and do it all with a little color and a LOT of sass.
